Public First moved to unseal the sentencing memoranda and the Government’s motion for downward departure in the sentencing for Defendant Jamey Denise Jackson in United States v. Curtiss Jackson, No. 22-CR-93-JMS.
Ms. Jackson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud concerning an investment scheme in Semisub, Inc. Pursuant to her plea agreement, she agreed to cooperate with the Government. Before sentencing, the Government filed the motion for downward departure under seal. Both the Government and Ms. Jackson also filed sentencing memoranda entirely under seal. The motion will be heard by the Honorable J. Michael Seabright. No. 26-MC-250.
