- Drones: “As of now, the Department requires sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, ie Drones) operators to obtain certification under FAA Title 14 CFR part 107, on their own at this initial juncture. Any training materials that individuals used to obtain certification would not be in the custody of the Department.”

Procurement for ShotSpotter: “The Department is in the process of procuring a noise detection technology. The procurement is for the ShotSpotter technology, but it is not complete – the department has not paid for or received the product.
